Today, as part of Girls’ Day, we had the pleasure of welcoming two young students from Elmshorn to our company. We were delighted by their interest and curiosity as they gained insights into switchgear construction. It was especially nice that one of the participants had already had some exposure to the profession of electronics technician, as her grandfather used to work in that field himself.
To start, both received a detailed tour of our company. Since they hadn’t yet had the opportunity to see a company from the inside, this was an exciting introduction. Afterward, they shadowed several of our journeymen as they worked, were able to ask questions, and even gained their first hands-on experience. A small highlight was creating their own name stickers with emojis on our engraving machine.
We are very pleased with the two students’ enthusiasm and hope to continue inspiring many more girls to pursue technical careers, and in particular the career of electronics technician specializing in automation and systems technology.
