Today, as part of Girls’ Day, we had the pleasure of welcoming two young students from Elmshorn to our company. We were delighted by their interest and curiosity as they gained insights into switchgear construction. One of the participants happily shared that she had already had some exposure to the profession of electronics technician, as her grandfather used to work in that field himself.
To start, both received a detailed tour of our company. Since they hadn’t yet had the opportunity to see a company from the inside, this was an exciting introduction. Afterward, they accompanied several journeymen as they performed their respective tasks, were able to ask questions, and even gained their first hands-on experience. A small highlight was creating their own name stickers with emojis using our laser engraving machine.
We are very pleased with the two students’ enthusiasm and hope to inspire many more girls in the future to pursue technical careers, and in particular the profession of electronics technician specializing in automation and systems engineering.
